Edit: the outcome of the "investigation" is that it's not their fault, as expected. All I wanted was an apology, now never going to stay again and will be sharing with my colleagues so they can make an informed decision on whether to stay or not. What a victory for the hotel. Really like this hotel, area is convenient, it's relatively quiet, rooms are clean and warm, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Car park can be a bit manic, but there is an overflow, and the car chargers are not stupidly expensive. There's a pool and overall the experience was great the times I've been here (I say here because I'm actually at the property) Can't say I'm impressed with the restaurant though, especially given the hotel prices and what they serve are essentially pre-prepared meals. I know this because another local hotel has the exact same menu, for exactly the same prices. I have no problem with paying for good food, but unfortunately what I was served was not that good. The meal was Baked Cod, and as you can see from the photo it was poorly presented (wilted salad) and the Cod was really dry (as you can also see), like it had been under a heat lamp far too long. To make things worse, the fish was so overseasoned I was coughing throughout the meal. I just ate through it as I was hungry and had work to do. I reported it to the staff when I settled the bill, was kindly offered a free dessert, but I declined. Unfortunately I suffered from a poor stomach that night, which I reported next day at the front desk to general disinterest from the staff. I didn't really want to make a fuss as they looked busy and I felt pretty rough, so I reported it by email when I felt better. I wanted nothing more than an apology. Instead I've been drawn into an "investigation" into my "allegation" of food poisoning. I'll let that run its course, but my feedback is that if a customer is just informing you that they got an upset stomach, with nothing expected other than an apology, being asked to complete an online form which is clearly looking for an opportunity to deflect the blame is both patronising and insinuates that the customer is lying. I'll not stop coming here, but I'll make alternative food arrangements.

Booked a "spa" day as a birthday treat for my partner and her mum. They arrived to find the pool area full of a baby and toddler swim session that lasts until 11:15! Their first hour was wasted by a noisy pool. And all the parents, not on paid spa days, took up all the "spa" loungers. They may as well have gone and sat next to a public pool and got the same experience for 1/3 the cost! Nowhere on the Spa Day section, where they advertise full use of facilities, does it make any mention about the pool being off limits. Spoke with staff on two phone calls and neither thought to mention the fact either. Clearly hiding it as they know it would put people off going. Is this a spa? Not really no. Is this a public swimming pool that happens to be in a posh looking hotel and offer some treatments? Yes. Such a letdown!

I stayed at Chesford Grange for a work event. On arrival you are presented with a nice looking building in pleasant surroundings with lots of parking. The reception and common areas are well maintained and all of the team members I encountered were lovely. I had my evening meal at the hotel and that too was good. All sounds great so far, and all brings me to the room. As soon as I got to the door it was evident that the room allocated to me was not as well loved as the arrival would have you expect. Most notable was the enormous damp stain and crack on the ceiling, where I can only assume an occupant of the room above had allowed their bath to overflow. Add to that the fact that the shower rail was broken meaning you had to hold the shower head in place or it would simultaneously drop down and twist to face the wall, the toilet would not fully flush and there were long black hairs that definitely weren't mine in the bath and around the bathroom bin. Overall the room clearly lacked both upkeep and attention. I know most people don't visit a hotel to spend their time in the room, but I would still hope for better attention to conditions than I found here and I would suggest that some work is needed to improve the environment and have the rooms match the rest of the facilities.

What can I say... came here for a work event. From the outside the hotel looks really nice. Easy to get to, a lot of parking, friendly staff. The room however.. absolutely horrendous. No soundproofing at all. I could hear what the room next to me and opposite were saying loud and clear. You can hear the hallway the whole time. The sleep I had was such a rubbish sleep. Could not sleep due to the electric key fob making a sound the whole night which kept me up. The bed was not comfortable at all. I think this is the worst hotel I've been to. This has surpassed Best Western Hotel in Antalya. As well as this, my bedsheets had some weird yellow stain on them. The bathroom lights look like they were done by some cowboy builders. One of the bathroom lights is not fitted properly...

We have just returned from a weekend break. The bar, restaurant and reception staff were all very helpful. The restaurant food quality was great, my husband loved the ribeye (both nights!!). The restaurant staff were very kind, and found a candle (birthday) both nights for my husband's dessert. I don't eat meat (or tarragon!) the choice was fair. The goats cheese salad starter was amazing. The breakfast staff were lovely too, I requested vegetarian sausages both days, and they were fab. My suggestion would be; to put a sign up stating that vegetarian sausages areavailable to order. Really lovely stay. Easy journey to Warwick castle and the beautiful light trail.

We decided to return as we had already visited in August, we stayed for 3 nights and attended the gala night for new years eve, it was really lovely, plenty of food and good service. However when we got to the main course my knife was so blunt it wouldn't cut the piece of beef that I had so I had to leave most of it, but it was a bit too rare for me unfortubately. The band was good but there were people dancing with drinks in their hand. What makes people want to take to the dance floor and carry a glass full of liquid with the risk of spilling drink and the possibility of dropping the glass on the floor and the risk factor that some people had taken their shoes off to dance. We had a partially blind lady on our table that was dancing and enjoying herself that adds extra risk of an accident. Lovely staff always helpful. We are hoping to go to the gala night again this year with friends if they have one as it wax well attended

Nice staff and pretty well maintained hotel in a good location. Lots of dogs, so not ideal if you're allergic. Breakfast was very average, the coffee machine in particular was terrible, which is hard work in this day and age!

For the price paid, I would say well done to everyone working at Chesford Grange from top to bottom. It isn't perfect, perfect doesn't exist, but it's got a lot going for it. Thank you especially for the warmth and friendly service from every staff member we interacted with from reception to the fitness centre to the bar to cleaning staff we met in corridors etc.

Attended a Christmas Party night at Chesford Grange on 6/12/24 and it really exceeded my expectations. All the staff were really friendly and attentive. Loads of staff on the bar and table service, making it all run smoothly, no lengthy bar queues or waiting for food - makes such a difference. Our server (Mo I think his name was) was really good. Food was all delicious and the DJ did a great job of reading the room with his song choices. Hope to be back next year, keep doing what you are doing on these party nights Chesford Grange!

Lots of parking and the reception is clean and is very modern, oozing glamour with it's blue and leather interior. The staff at reception were welcoming and efficient. The room also very clean and spacious, with great views of the greenery. What let down the experience was the pool and steam room being out of action due to the storm providing a leak. The restaurant was decent, but our dedicated waitress kept disappearing for a lengthy period of time then returning and apologising but not sure why she disappeared for such lengths at a time when we wanted to order additional drinks and see the desert menu. This is very much a family hotel, with LOTS of screaming and very hyper kids. We only saw one very well-behaved dog otherwise.

Great experience from Libby the beauty therapist. Great service at the restaurant and food was amazing. Rooms were spacious, heated mirror in the bathroom helped. Shower was powerful and good temperature. Would highly recommend

I wish I could leave two completely separate reviews as the process of booking our stay was very different to the experience we ended up with. My husband and I booked to stay at the Chesford Grange as part of our wedding weekend as we were getting married 5 minutes away in Warwick. I organised a group booking discount in the July and had the expectation that our guests would receive a discounted price and therefore the best price for their rooms. After all, we were bringing customers to them during an off season month. It came to our attention that the rooms for sale online were about £50 cheaper per double than the "group booking discount" that we were given due to an advanced booking autumn sale. Finding this out, we wanted to speak to the person that put our booking through to see if we could receive a fair resolution given that we had booked further in advance than this sale. Upon speaking with her, she explained that there was nothing to be done. Without unpacking every detail from many back and forths, as customers, we were left feeling completely ignored (it took up to a week and chasing to be responded to ...TWICE!), feeling disrespected (the person dealing with us was short in manor and very unwilling to find a resolution or to help) and worried that we had made a huge mistake in making Chesford Grange part of our wedding experience. Eventually, a manager stepped in and we were able to come to a resolution we both felt was fair only to be sent an incorrect quote that almost led us to pay £300+ more than what was agreed. We paid in full for 5 rooms. When we arrived, we were told we had only paid for one because the booking hadn't been processed correctly. This was sorted by the reception team. Once at the hotel, things massively improved. The staff on the desk were really lovely and accommodating. The rooms were gorgeous and the setting of the hotel looked amazing with the autumnal gardens and trees. Breakfast was good and there was a nice atmosphere in the hotel. It is such a shame that one person was able to ruin our experience as much as they had, I certainly wouldn't recommend organising a group booking or wedding with Chesford Grange but would stay as a regular guest.

Stayed 2 nights for work now. Beautiful hotel lovely service by all staffs. I would like to commend a particular staff, a lovely petite young lady, at the front desk who helped me out when all my chargers stopped working. She was very patient and went over and beyond to assist me and she is just a life saver. I wasnt able to walk to town center hence the 4 stars instead of 5 for location. There is an unpleasant smell in the room which I think may be from the cleaning agents used (or the ventilation?) more noticeably at night so quite unpleasant to stay in. I was there for work so didnt stay long in the room so decided I couldnt be bothered to raise it with the hotel.

First things first checking in! Couldn’t have been better! I was greeted by Tamara who was helpful and friendly, great customer service and helped with everything I needed to know and got me on my way as quickly as needed but not in any rush. I was running a little late for the restaurant but the bar girl took my order regardless ( sorry i didn’t catch a name but was a man and a girl on the bar and both were great to deal with!) I can’t thank the chefs enough for cooking me the 8oz fillet steak (which honestly was the highlight of my stay) service was fast and the food was warm and tasty! As a steak lover this place exceeded expectations! The room was just as good as the service and the food and all in all I haven’t got a bad word to say about this place, granted I only stayed a night but I’d definitely look at booking again for maybe a long weekend getaway! Thanks to the staff who dealt with me tonight and the chefs who provided me the beautiful food!

Arrived at the hotel after being at a dog show just 7 mins away so it was a great location. Unfortunately a Gavin Bingham had been checked in into my room so the lovely girl at the desk (annoyingly didn’t catch her name) gave me an upgrade into a beautiful & clean room. No fuss, no problems. Thank you! Hotel decor is beautiful, classic & very British. 🇬🇧 What a little gem! She was so polite, professional and knew what to do. Will deffo stay again 🧡

If you can’t sleep at a hotel what is it good for? This hotel is more of a conference centre with rooms. We booked the same weekend as a dog competition which we weren’t told about when we booked. There was really loud music till late meaning we couldn’t sleep and then yapping dogs woke us up in the morning. An awful night’s sleep. Reception staff very friendly and accommodating, but I’d never stay there again!

The heating by the HVAC is way too loud and blows directly the air into my face while sleeping. I had a bad night. Switching of was not possible, because otherwise the room would be too cold. And the regular heating was not working.

We used this hotel as a base to visit both Stoneleigh Abbey and the British Motor Museum. The hotel restaurant was good quality and reasonable value. There are 3 EV charging points in the car park.
